The dinner is taking place on Saturday the 1st of October in Glenridding Public Hall at the bottom of Helvelyn in the Lake District. As well as great climbing, scrambling and hill walking there are unmissable rainy day activities such as a visit to the Pencil Museum in Keswick, so if I were you, I'd save the date in your calendar NOW.

Evening tickets are £25 and include:
- 3 course dinner
- ceilidh band duo
- glass of fizz.
- Annual Jacobites award ceremony!

Accommodation is booked at the Bury Hostel http://buryhostel.org.uk/ (30 places) at £15 for the weekend; and as its uphill, the price even includes a taxi shuttle back after the annual dinner! There's also a campsite nearby and 2 YHA hostels if you'd prefer to make your own arrangements.
